April 19, 2015 (Baby Shower!)
Christina really really did not want a baby shower. As a result, she had it pushed out as far out as feasibly possible! Just two and a half weeks from her due date, Christina had her Baby Shower and it was AWESOME! Her sister Joanne put the whole thing on for her and made the day especially special. She received so many great gifts and would like to share them with everyone!
First, both Bob and Christina's families put together a really nice alphabet book for Henry:
Henry received his first major coin (The United States Mint, American Buffalo One Ounce Gold Proof Coin) for his future coin collection from his Great Grandmother Ross:
Great Grandmother Ross also got Hank United States Mint coins for his birth year:
Henry also received AMAZING quilts from his Aunt Debbie, Great Aunt Sandy and Grandma Hynds' friends:
Grandma Hynds childhood friend Mrs. Sweet also made Henry his very first cloth diapers:
Aunt Joanne LOVINGLY made Henry his first Halloween Costumes!!! An "Oh Henry!" Candy Bar and The Little Prince:
Henry's Great Aunt Chris Seese gave him his first penny, dated with his birth year:
Aunt Jennifer's mother-in-law Patti knitted many great things for both Henry and Christina. Here are just a few of the things she knitted:
Finally, Grandma Linda bought Henry soooo many books. (Update: His FAVORITES are Dr. Seuss' "Hop on Pop" and "Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?"!!! AND Grandma Hynds got Henry "The Elf on the Shelf"... we cannot wait to continue the elf at Christmas time tradition!!!
