For his 2-year birthday, we gave Hank an 1/8 size cello (a little too big… but the 1/10 size was hard to find and a lot pricier). He went through bows like crazy (each lasted at most a month… the cost of bows can add up!). And, alas, his cello didn’t last much more than 4 months. I (Christina) was super mad when he threw it and the fingerboard split in half! R.I.P cello #1! We decided that he would have to wait for Santa to get him a new one… let’s hope Santa does!
